This September, the Pavilion in Broadstairs will come alive with music, community spirit, and a powerful purpose. Thanet Rocks is a one-day charity music festival raising money for Pilgrims Hospices, and we would love for you to be part of it.

After years of gigging across Thanet as Neon Rush, and feeling the support from fans, venues and local businesses, we wanted to give something back. Thanet Rocks is our way of doing that. We have pulled together some of the best artists from the area, all volunteering their time and talent, to raise funds for a cause that means a lot to us.

Why we are doing this

All money raised on the day will go directly to Pilgrims Hospices. Whether it comes from a raffle ticket, a hoodie purchase, or a donation bucket, it will help people and families across our community. Thanks to your support, we have already raised over £2,500 through quiz nights, local sponsorship, and a huge Three Peaks challenge completed by our singer Dane (his legs may never forgive us).

This is a community effort

None of this would be possible without the amazing people behind the scenes:

• The Works at Westwood Cross are selling handmade crafts, with all proceeds going to Pilgrims Hospices

• Monster Graphics have donated a custom stage backdrop

• DB Rising are taking care of sound and production

• Debbie Day, station manager at Academy FM Thanet, is our stage manager on the day

We are also excited to welcome Academy FM Thanet radio presenters Phil Dilley and David OCallaghan, who you might know from Live and Unleashed on Tuesday evenings. They are passionate about local music and will be helping bring the energy on the mic.
